Hello, my dears
I have been using Vera's oil cream for about two weeks.
Since I have several horses, I use these for the severe summer eczema in my Arabian and against mosquitoes in all of them.
Where should I begin? Regarding the mosquitoes, that is. I apply a drop under each horse's eyes, on its belly, back, ears, and mane. I observed that the midges flew towards me but didn't land. My horses no longer have a problem with the annoying midges. I don't need mosquito nets anymore. The same goes for horseflies.
Summer eczema I have to say that my Arabian horse is/was severely eczema sufferer. Last year, he had a sore, bloody belly stitch, and all he did was lie down and rub his belly. His mane was completely gone and also had bloody patches. On top of that, he was under a lot of stress. Towards evening, he would pace back and forth for two to three hours, annoyed by midges and itching. Like he was on the run. I tried everything from sulfur powder to ointments and creams, an eczema blanket, feed, etc., but nothing helped. This oil cream has made everything much better. For me, it doesn't matter whether the mane is short or long; my horses don't need to be groomed to a high shine every day. They can walk around with mud on them for a week. I'm happy because I can see that my horses are doing well. They don't have any problems with the occasional midge that flies by.
But most of all, I'm glad that my Arabian horse is 99% better, he's not so stressed anymore and only rubs himself in one spot on his mane.
I have some photos and videos to look at. I wish everyone all the best for their little ones.
