What is it?
The black fly:
It belongs to the mosquito family and infests not only our animals but also humans. Its bite is not always noticed immediately and causes an unpleasant itching sensation.
Their saliva contains substances that can trigger severe reactions in people with a pre-existing allergy, even leading to anaphylactic shock. Interestingly, itching is actually a defense mechanism of the body, caused by the saliva. A bite leads to an increased release of histamine, the substance responsible for swelling and itching.
The brake:
One of the worst pests in the horse world. The female insects infest the horse to feed on its blood, which is essential for reproduction.
Unfortunately, horseflies are not only annoying and, above all, allergy-inducing bloodsuckers, but are also known as carriers of various diseases, including Lyme disease.
Where and how do we begin?
To repel black flies and horseflies, apply the CBD oil cream drop by drop to the chest, inner ears, belly seam, and tailhead. Optionally, also apply it to any other areas where insects are noticed. Depending on the animal's metabolism, after 5-6 days of initial application, 1-2 applications per week should be sufficient to get through the horsefly and black fly season.
For existing wounds caused by constant chafing, the sensitive oil cream is used to support and accelerate the healing process. The cell powder can be used internally.
