Wound care

Affected animal: horse, dog, cat

What is it?
A wound can be classified as acute or chronic.

  • An acute wound can result from an injury or from a surgical procedure.

In a chronic wound, the skin cells are permanently damaged, and often the wound enlarges from the outside in, interrupting or severely disrupting the healing process.

The following can be counted among the different wound areas:

  • Burns
  • abrasions
  • Scars
  • chemical burns

Where and how do we begin?
To distinguish between the base cream and the CBD cream, the following “rule of thumb” applies:
For anything that's acute, itchy, or burning, use the basic cream. It's the "fire brigade" among creams and belongs in every small pet first-aid kit.

For anything that is long-term, deep-seated, chronic, or pain-related, CBD cream is used. It is the "benevolent therapist" among creams and belongs in every small veterinary medicine cabinet for long-term treatment.

Vera's Creme vet. Basis supports all regenerative processes of the skin and its deeper layers. Its unique composition, based on oils and the body's own vitamins, ensures that cells are stimulated to regenerate quickly, and its pain-relieving and itch-relieving properties ensure faster well-being for every animal.

Vera's Cream vet. CBD is an enhanced version of the base cream, retaining all its natural properties with the added benefit of certified THC-free CBD. The CBD cream provides support for chronic or long-standing conditions. These often involve additional impairment of the nervous system, resulting in poor healing or chronic pain.

Due to the high concentration, a thin application to the affected area once a day is sufficient.

IMPORTANT! All suggested measures do not replace an examination by a veterinarian.
