What is it?
Generally, a dry nose in a dog doesn't necessarily indicate illness. Dry indoor air or lying in the sun can cause a normal dry nose. However, if accompanied by pain or weakness, it's always a warning sign and should be checked by a veterinarian. A dry nose can also be a sign of sunburn, especially during the summer months.
