Customer testimonial for Vera's oil cream / Interim report – eczema
I was allowed to start testing Vera's cream this April. Thanks again! Let me tell you, the amount of money I've already spent on it is ridiculous. So I'm very critical of all products and test them very thoroughly.
My gelding has had eczema for years. I bought him in terrible condition, but it improved year after year with proper care. Last year was our "best year" yet... Pictures to follow. Last year, he was free of rubbing until mid-June thanks to Zedan's eczema oil, but then it really started. So much for hope, and another winter without a mane. It does calm down eventually, but once it starts, he loses a lot of mane... Anyway, so far so good. For almost three years now, he's been getting Elke's metabolic treatment in the fall and spring, and then the regular care... But no matter what we do, we can't get through the winter with a full mane. I got in touch with Vera, and she said we should give it a try... In April, I received the oil cream, and he had been rubbing himself raw for about three to four days... I applied it immediately. At first, daily, and after two weeks, every two to three days. Here are some pictures from last year, then from the beginning in April 2020, and now. So far, he's completely free of rubbing, and we still have about three months to go. If I had noticed the first signs of rubbing sooner, we wouldn't have lost him at all.
I'm very hopeful that we'll make it through to October and that for the first time in years we'll have a full mane going into winter. So far, I'm 100% confident and fully supportive of the treatments and the cream.
